Why the fuss about immigration?

The bottom line is that they are here to stay illegal or not!
so no point in getting wired up about it, coz generations will come and go and the same thing will continue.
So everyone needs to get on with their lives and not worry about what Juan Lopez is doing down the street, probably working hard for his family and he ain't worried about me as a citizen is doing!!
Every country should let everyone come in and be a citizen. That would never cause problems of any sort.
(except for the local crime rate, education system, national security, quality of healthcare, economy)

I think most of the fuss is about ILLEGAL immigration.
i don't know. who do people complain at all? because they can and want to. people pay taxes no matter where they live. maybe they are tired of immigrants taking what they have not payed into.
Because a country should be able to decide who it's citizens are going to be. It can control crime rates, assistance abuse, no over burden of schools or their free lunch systems, control taxes, know whether terrorists have applied, stop race problems before they start, allow the census bureau to do their work, and keep radical illegals form ruining a nation, just to name a few. Many of the people in penal colonies were sent there for stupid reasons and it looks as if the Aussies have the situation under control! Ancestry has little to do with what a person can become in the right conditions. Being legal comes with a price.
Alot of people say we are all descended from monkeys, does that mean it's okay to act like them?
4,000 citizens were sworen in yesterday!!legally from all over the world, 39 here in Rochester, every holiday or maybe just certain ones but point being they studied American history, and what else they needed to know took test, past, and are now American citizens who can vote, and do whatever legally that is the complaint ILLEGALLY OR LEGAL
immigration.those of us been here for generations families fought wars, settled land and built this country . why should people sneak into our country when others do it legally?
that is the fuss.if we went to other countries we would have to learn language, and laws so it should be here speak our language, obey our laws, take a test and become a citizen legally and would be no fuss

Why don't you ask mexicans the same question when it comes to those from Central America that are not allowd to stay in Mexico "because of the mexican inmigration lwas" as a mexican diplomatic said.
