Why do supporters of illegals always ask if we are willing to cut our own grass if illegas are deported?

I don't know whether to be disgusted with or feel sorry for people who think we all have gardeners, nannies, maids, etc. Maybe they do have them and don't want to give them up (or pay a decent wage). But most of us do our own work, and trade tasks with friends, neighbors, and family. We don't hire illegals to do it while we go out for mocha lattes and have our hair done.
Many of the jobs they say we wont do is just a attempt to justify their own illegal activities. I have worked in the fields, mowed grass, worked in restaurants and other things. They just undercut the wages.
That is oversimplifing things, there are way more jobs here that illegals do, in your favorite restaurant, store, local farms, ect. If there were no jobs then there would be no illegals. they just want to work and support their families but in Mexico there are no jobs that can support a family. They don't want to leave everyone and thing they know but it's their only option, what would you have them do starve?

Kids cut my lawn, well by kids I mean a 12 year old. He is hard working, shows up on time and does a great job - I think he is saving for a bike. Anyway most illegals have moved from lawn care to construction now or factory jobs.
Most of the jobs that we supposedly wont do are starting point jobs, most of us are not going to mow lawns for the rest of our lives but do it when we are young to make money and we always have done those jobs, as we get older some get degree's and good jobs some get married and others get promotions and go on to bigger and better things but they were all done by Americans.

i hear you! i have been looking for a job forever and i would do that job in a heartbeat but they always will give it to illegals because its cheaper for them. wake up america! something is wrong here! we all come from immigrants-our ancestors, our parents, or maybe you were one but did you do it legally, did you learn how to fit in! one my best friends is from india and her and her family moved her LEGALLY, and it took them some time to learn more about america, english and jobs, etc. i applaud them for doing it the right way because i know it wasn't easy for them but they are doing it!
