Each EU country has its own criteria for citizenship.
don't think so. the only inheritance i know of, sort of, is when your parents become citizens, you are a minor & their citizenship extends to you. or you are born here, like rights of birthplace, etc. the only inheritted benefit is what your step-parent did for you but they earned their dual citizenship, not you! sorry.
