Can I get an ancestral visa to the U.K. if my great grandparents where English?
Answer:
The British High Commision states that to qualify for an ancestral visa you need to met the following criteria:
you are a Commonwealth citizen
you are aged 17 or over
you have a grandparent who was born in the UK, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Mann you have a grandparent that was born in what is now the Republic of Ireland prior to 31 March 1922
you are able to work and intend to do so in the UK
you can support yourself and any dependants, without recourse to public funds
As it is I would say NO.
British ancestry visas are a pain to apply for since you actually need your birth cert, your relevent parent's birth cert and your relevent grandparent's birth cert. If you went via your great grandparents you'd be looking at aquiring another birth cert.
Just get one a normal working visa (or if you're EU djust hop on a train).
No.
Why do you want that? Is there perhaps another way that will achieve the same aim?
