Holiday to florida and my passport?
Answer:
I agree with Paul - your UK passport must be valid for SIX MONTHS or MORE from the date of ENTRY to the USA.
If it is not then you need to try to get to a passport office TODAY.
Why is this a bad answer? It is the correct one according to the USA embassy website.
I don't see why they should refuse you. You have your return ticket with you anyway to show them.
Long as your not from Iran, Iraq, Syria, Mexico or North Korea you shoulnt have no problems
Depending on what your nationality is, they have requirements for passports and it's important to stick to them, because you may never know what kind of officer you may meet, some aren't that difficult about it, then others do, because it is an official requirement.
I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but better you know this before you travel. To enter the US, your passport MUST expire no less than 6 months after your date of ENTRY. If it does, you will be refused entry to the United States and you will have to return to the UK.
Sorry again.
Edit: I've included the US Embassy website link, in case you need to contact them.
if you are a us citizen and your passport is valid, you can return.
