Why are Bush and the Senate in such a hurry to Pass the Amnesty Bill THIS WEEK?
It is of grave concern to me that this has become the most important thing to Bush and the Senate while our military are dying on foreign soil. Why don't we bring them home and let them secure our borders?

I personally think they want to pass it before Americans have a chance to read it and rebel against it until after the fact. Then, it will be too late. It's all about votes. The Democrats believe that they have a lock on Hispanics and want to secure their undying and ill-informed support. The Republicans, on the other hand, are trying to do everything to undermine this tactic and are hoping to come across as the true friend of illegals. Either way, the short-sighted plan of our elected officals will destroy our values and lifestyles and the America that we've known and loved will cease to exist.

Because the faster they can get something put through without the American people knowing and standing up against it, the less they have to listen to it. There are lots of hidden things in that bill, and he is putting pressure on the senators like never before. But...they better listen or they won't be getting votes in the next election. The American people need to check out the "super highway" connecting Mexico going through Texas up to Canada that is planned and we are paying for, along with the bringing together of Mexico, Canada, and the US as a super power. It's all in the works and will be here before you know it. And guess who will be paying for all of this?! Tax payers.

Remember they want you to believe we are in danger by Iraq and Iran and terrorists in order to scare you into voting for them... the mainstream media will never question that. They are in a hurry because they realize our immigration system is broken. And it's not amnesty. Stop calling it that. Heavy fines, back taxes, background checks (for serious crimes), and going back to their country of origin then coming back here. Is that really amnesty? Besides, our policies towards Mexico have been unfair and racist (yes, I said it) ever since Mexico as a country was founded.
And about our military, I respect and support them too, in the sense that we should spend less on tanks and aircraft carriers within the military budget (Will those really stop terrorists? Think about it.) and more on military personnel pay and care. Also, we should bring them home right away from Iraq.

Immigration reform is a concern because it has been neglected for years. This is not Amnesty it is immigration reform. Mexicans deserve to be here more than any of the Euroamericans who live here. Read your history books. Yeah I know you'll all say, oh we kicked your asses, no, ya' didn't you stole it! Then cheated out more land by lying out of a treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo seizing 1.7 million acres of land from the people. These people were all to be given the same rights of Natural Citizens and later against the treaty was taken out. This was act 8-10 read it! You might learn something.
If you were an immigrant an not just undocumented but someone waiting for citizenship and were a legalized resident, it takes a long time and money to become a citizen. This will help speed the process. Remember the only REAL citizens from the beginning are the Native Americans, Mayans and Aztecs. So stop all this hate and discrimination. You feel you are so superior to everyone why? Mexico welcomes people who want to live or travel to their country. NO not because they have money, because they are warm people. Americans are rude and selfish... cultureless, so sad.
Maybe this is justification for all the illegal deportation for the Repatriation Act President Hoover initiated during the 1930's. In which millions of people were deported because they were Mexican, illegal, of Mexican heritage, looked Mexican. TRUE STORY!! 60% of the people deported were Natural born citizens of Mexican descendance and were deported or as they put it... repatriated. They made this word because they asked them to leave under the impression they could return at a later date after the Great Depression, low and behold this didn't happen. They were not allowed to return. Many families were broken up, people were sent to a country they had never seen or spoke the language. Just because one is Mexican doesn't mean one speaks Spanish!
Due to Americanization during that era this was happening. It was popular for Mexican Americans in schools to not be allowed to speak spanish due to them being segregated in schools. They were not taught their own culture, heritage, history, not allowed to speak their language. When they were deported they were deported with whatever they could carry by trains and with no money. I hope this opens your mind to how immigrants fight to live and how they are not cocroaches as even President Hoover called them. This is a type of bigot mentality that needs to change it our time. I mean no disrespect or insult but I was technically ilegal and by that let me tell you my story briefly. My parents were here legally but all my siblings were American Citizens. When I was to be born, my parents came to hard time and couldn't afford to pay for hospital fee's and since they NEVER depended on the government for aid they traveled to Mexico since my grandmother was a mid-wife she delivered me. So therefore I was now Mexican, and it doesn't bother me. All my family is, but we look very European very Italian or fair Spanish, well it took almost 10 years for me just to get my resident card considering I had all my siblings living here along with my parents. Who would I live with in Mexico? I wasn't a danger, all my extended family now lived legally in the U. S. No one thinks about this until they hear about it. That's why knowledge is power.
I have family in the military so I respect that, but they have not gained Citizenship, unfortunately. They have served for the country they believe in. Yet, the country does not believe in them. They strive to prove they are worth it. Still nothing is done just as many Veterans are forgotten

Our brave troops should be rewarded for following the orders of their superiors and risking their lives at George Bush's command. I would so like to see the politicians in the trenches instead of the young men of our countries' future. There are no medals that make losing your child to someone else's mania meaningful. Our troops are the greatest, our politicians the worst. Whatever happened to " We the people " they only serve their own self interests and leave the rest of America wondering, did I vote for that guy?
