sure does---especially if the language is completely 'foreign' to the immigrant---and, even more so, if there is no familial type support systems present and operating------been there!/done that!

Nah not really. I think it depends on your circumstances for wanting to move but once the decision is made no it is quite easy.
I do not think it does. Many people move all over the world for their jobs, military etc. And you have nothing to fear if you come legally.
I think it does. If you dont know the language or any of the culture I think its damn brave.
Essentially, you would be like a child and have to learn so many new things. I think it would be fun and educating but seriously stressful too! Not to mention frustrating.

Many illegals do come here legaly but fall out of status because of inhumane time frames..

I think it depends on the reason they are coming to the new country. There is a difference between running to something, and running away from it. For instance if they are running from the law than no I would say that makes them cowards. But if they are oppressed and trying to make a better life for themselves then I say they are brave. That has nothing to do with the right or wrong of entering a country illegally, so I hope the crux of this question was not about illegal immigration. Because someone can be brave and wrong too.

yes, I wouldn't even consider it if it was a country that spoke a different language. but I live in the US so I don't plan on having to.
