Im on voluntary departure form the us, but my bf asked me to marry him?

I am currently on voluntary departure from the US i have until 7-3-07 to leave the US. But me bf for almost 3 years asked me to marry him. I dont know what to do? Will that help my situation or will i still have to leave? I am not banned from the us for 10 years or anything like that. so my case is not as bad as others. i can actually return right away legally. should i get married before that time? will that help?
Please if someone can give me advise.
And i have been here since i was 2 years old and im now 20 =[
This is very hard.

Answer:
you have been an illegal alien for 18 years? see, that is why bush should withdraw his troops from iraq, and start to clean up the illegal aliens in the US first

why 'defend freedom" in iraq, when there are many criminals who broke the immigration laws right here in the US
IS your bf a citizen? Then he could petition for you to stay.

If he is NOT a citizen it wont help you any.
I guess it's time for you to leave or be arrested and deported!
.You do not have enough time left for the fiance or spouse petitions to go through. Fill out all the forms, go home, then turn around and come back to USA.
go to the official immigration website. I use it all the time for my relatives, and you can download all the forms you need
(Is this the same bf you asked about a few weeks ago. Then you should just file your own petitions, and ask for a work or student visa or whatever, so you will not be tied down.)
Probably the easiest thing to do, if you are really not subject to the 3/10 year bars, is to leave on voluntary departure as required. In the meantime, have your BF file a fiancee application for you (Form I-129F to get a K-1 visa). Processing on the K-1 could be about 6 months. When it's approved, you can go to the consul to claim it, come back to the US, get married within 90 days, and then file to adjust status to that of a permanent resident (I-485).

If your BF is a US citizen, you could marry him, have him file for you (Form I-130) and file for yourself (I-485 adjustment of status). To do this, you will also need to request an extension of time for voluntary departure. If it was USCIS that gave you VD, this might be easier. If it was the immigration court, you may have an alternate order of deportation to worry about. Tell them you have married a US citizen and have a pending I-130/I-485 and need more time. Before you do this, you also have to be eligible to adjust status. If you entered the US without papers, then you can't do it and need to go home (unless you qualify for INA 245(i) - you were in the US Dec. 20, 2000 and someone filed an application for you before April 30, 2001). If you came in with a visa, but it expired (e.g., your folks brought you in on a tourist visa), then you can adjust in the US.

A consultation with an immigration attorney might be a good idea.
Just jump the fence like all the other ones do!!
