Asia is crazy about Miss Universe too, Japan spend 1 million dollars in the prparation of their contestant, and for latinamerica is just so important as the soccer. That's why Mexico City spend 15 million dollars for this event.
Mexicans didn't booed because Miss Mexico did not get into the TOP 5, if any other contestat would got into the TOP 5 the rest of the pageant could be OK.
If you noted they never booed any other contestant from any other country, just Miss USA. The rest of the countries tasted the real mexican hopsitality.
