Only if they gain citizenship. With the worker program they will be adding money to the SS system, which if NOT a citizen they will never be eligible to receive.

The bill does not - but there are a high number of illegals getting SS benefits and other welfare services through fraud and such - fake ID's, fake SS#'s and more.
There has been hundreds of findings of this across the US.
Not in the original bill, but I bet that somewhere along the way it will be changed, or someone will sue with the help ACLU, or La Raze and it will be reversed
Sorry to the above posters but yes they can get ss and ssi.
They can apply and immediately get a probationary visa. This visa is cheap and renewable for life. It allows them all of the benefits that citizens get except voting(they even get the earned income child tax credit - which is a IRS form of welfare)...But I will bet anyone a dollar for ten that the democrats will find a way to get that into law so that they can buy more votes with welfare, housing, food stamps, free medical, etc.

Yes. Of course, they'd be legal. Guys, come off it. All sorts of immigrants, not citizens, get SSI which is from social security.
but in order to get SS/SSI benifits as a citizen here you have to work a certain number of years to get it. Are they gonna let them get it without working all those years that citizens put into the system ?
If so that's gonna get a lot of people pissed off at the government!
