How do you feel now that you have to have a passport to enter your own country?
Answer:
I feel like we are being duped into total state control "for our own good".
I"m not an American but love going to the USA........Now we need to bring our passports when visiting USA but it's well worth it just to visit.

It is time for the internet to have a real place for us to debate the world's issues in a civilized manner.

Spoken like a true isolationist. Don't forget the Claymores and razor wire around your compound to keep "them": out. Paranoia strikes deep for you evidently.
I think it is great. Just one more way to protect the country from terrorist. It might incomvenient for some, but if it keeps one terrorist attack from happening, and illegal immigrants from entering, it is worth it.
there is nothing wrong with it.
i think it is great.
When was this not true? I have been traveling for forty years, and I always take a passport with me and use it to reenter the country. How is this an inconvenience or any special requirement?
US citizens need a passport to enter the US. It seems that they are the only ones that need proper documents
good, hopefully this will stop foreign nationals coming into country illegally also, besides all other countries you visit it is required to have a passport to visit ,
I've traveled all over the world. I always needed to show my passport when coming back home with the exception of Canada, Mexico and some places in the Caribbean. It's no big deal.
I feel like I am under house arrest and I haven't even gotten a parking ticket! This country is going to hell fast!
What's the big deal? A passport is an essential document and, unlike a birth certificate, you can replace it.
What is the big deal about getting a passport? Sounds like it is common sense to have a passport if you are going to leave or enter any country.
