The Aztecs hated the Spanish because the Spanish, along with their leader Hernan Cortez, arrived in Mexico and began to take over the land. The Spanish Conquistadores stopped in nothing in their search for power and wealth. The Spanish even raped the women of the tribes and killed off the men. When the Spanish arrived in Mexico, they brought diseases with them that the Aztecs were not immune to, so many of them died because their bodies could not fight off the diseases they had never encountered before.

Uhm ... possibly because the Spanish wanted to take the Aztec's land and killed many Aztecs in the process?
