Let's say this bill passes. Illegal "A" goes to his/her boss and says "I need to change my social security # which is false/forged/stolen (take your pick) to my legal # under my Z-Visa." Any reputable employer will FIRE that person for lying on their application.

You put your finger on one of the problems with this bill. I'll skip the details--its one of those bills that is as twisted up as a pile of spaghetti.
But--no, no illegals have to be fired. The heads of housholds are supposed to go back to their home country and then re-enter the US (and pay a $5000 fine). What making them go step back and forth across the border is supposed to accomplish no one has given a straight answer to. The fine at least make sense-thechnically they are in violation of the law. It's not very realistic, though--where are most of the immigrants going to get that kind of money (personally, i' d say $500 is more realistic). Oh, and (If I'm understanding the political yack-yack) they have 8 years to do this.
The rest of the bill is even more confusing. But--nevertheless, I'm for it. We need to get SOMETHING on the table and start fixing this mes the GOP spent 12 years ignoring. The problems can always be fixed later, when Bush and the right-wing are out of the way.
HAHA were you around i 86 they said the same things then. Guess what nothing happens except the criminal illegals aliens now are 20+million an the borders will be flooded with millions more wanting the amnesty from all over the world.
The past trend of the government is to grant the rewards given to illegal aliens and not implement the security measures. It would be dangerous to assume it's different now.
