Put the price of beer in the supermarket up! It costs about a quarter of the price to drink at home compared to what it does at the pubs. The pubco's could also be split up they have far too much clout, all they are is extensions of the 4 big breweries. I dont think Tony can do much about it its more of a question for the treasury.
Revoke the smoking ban !!

Lift the smoking ban in Scotland and let us be self governing.
Since he's quitting next month I doubt that he will, or can do anything about it.
Now that he has resigned and will have plenty of time on his hands with loads of cash he will make out of the odd speech here and there, he could buy a few of those pubs, and have the beer named after him, Blairs XXX BS bitter, Blairs Export WMD, Bushes IPA ( Iraqi pale ale), Scottish fat "Brown" ale, there must be loads more out there.

its not just the government's greed but the brewery's greed to so the government and the brewery's have to help not all public houses are busy all week
