I think your english needs work. This is only for air travel. I think that to travel to Canada and need a passport is stupid. Same thing with Mexico. However, in looking at border patrol, customs officers, etc. If everyone has a passport, checking ID's at the border would be so much simpler.

I think it's a good idea, especially because it's not that much to ask people to get one, and they'll only have the inconvenience once every 10 years. Everything movies faster in the airports and it's always a great form of identification to have a passport (to use for proof of identity in a lot of situations) anyway.
I found this hilarious. My girlfriend took a cruise last week to Mexico and had to have a passport. Three years earlier we paid 35 cents to walk across the bridge into Mexico.
