well, I pretty much agree. I think the problem is that there are more nefarious reasons for amnesty than the Washington elite is letting on.

The proposed bill is amnesty, no matter what euphemism they give it. Americans do not want to give the illegals amnesty and it will show at the voting booths in '08.

Yes, the bill really does sound like amnesty. But because the government has waited so long to do something about the immigration problem, this may be the only way to deal with the 13 million plus undocumented immigrants.
