H1b transfer question...?
links for information would be greatly appreciated
thanks!
Answer:
No, it's not possible. Your employer, the one who got the H1b visa for you, spent a lot of time, money and effort arranging things. If you don't want to work for him then you can wait until next year and hope some other employer can get you a visa.
Nope, the employer is the one that has the Visa for you. If you change employers, then the new employer has to go through the process for getting a Visa for you.
The H1B visa is only a ploy by large business to get cheaper labor. It is also used by other immigrats with fake business to sneak family members into our country. Sorry, I think you should leave our country. Good luck and best wishes, but I and many other decent Americans want you out. Our country needs a 5 year moratorium on ALL immigration so we Americans can recover from the damage done by immigration. Again, sorry..but just telling you how I feel, no offense intended, but why dont you go back to your own country and help build it up?
Yes, i think you should be able to transfer your H1b without being counted against the quota. For more information check out the forums on murthy.com. they have discussions on a lot of situations similar to yours.
