Call of Duty 2 the videogame can serve as target practice on Aztlan and La Raza Racists?
Answer:
Call of Duty 2 came out like two years ago. Get with the times.
Have to check out it
first of all AZTLAN is not a people who are trying to take over the south western states, THAT IS A MYTH so get it straight. Aztlan is a nahuatl work that is always MISINTERPRETED all the time!! When broken down it stands for consicousness or tool, place of consicousness or spiritual consicousness, place of knowlegde. NOT A PLACE...it doenst recognize any geographic boundries. SO get it right. and its not LA RACA is LA RAZA which simply means "THE PEOPLE" not race or mexicans....anyway there is not such thing as race, its just a word that was made up to further seperate us. WE ARE ALL HUMANS. The media is always going to attack things they dont know. What we dont know we fear...which is sad. SO PLEASE before you start talking all this about mexicans trying to take there land back.......know what u are talking about and dont just agree with someone just because it sounds right. You are easily influence and follow...be ur self and educate youself. Latinos are just trying ot fight for equality.
Haven't played any of the Call of Duty series. However, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter takes place in Mexico City against Mexican "Insurgents". It is odd that there are video games that were released with these kinds of backdrops given the situation now. Go figure. And ditto the above statements. Seriously, we need to get a grip on the reality of things before asking such questions.
Dude, stop being so paronoid, that's never going to happen.
To the other person who said "La Raza" means "The People", you that's not true. It literally means "The Race", used mainly by people who are extremely proud of their race.
It is racist. What would you think if you heard white people using the word "race" in the same sense "la raza" is used? Of course you would accuse them of being racist and with due reason.
You don't have to be white to be racist.
Being racist in any race is f'ed up.
La dude,
Although La raza literally means The race,
its a common slang used by some mexican(especialy poor persons) to refer to the people, so used in that context it means the people. it is not used in a racist way in that context.
