It's amazing to see how whining do gooder liberals can justify anything that is illegal! it happens time and time again!! i.e. They are just here to better themselves! They are here to take advantage of give away social programs that lieberals have put in place!
The z bill does not just hand out citizenship. Please educate yourself.

The larger majority DO NOT break laws to get here they come in with a VISA and then overstay the time frame.

Justified because the native Americans are really the only true citizens. Hundreds of years ago every single race/country (even the native Americans) conquered other races/countries or died being conquered - sorry but people were really mean then.

You are correct that it is wrong to give citizenship to those who entered our country illegally. However, I would make exceptions for those whose parents brought them here illegally when they were very young. Also, if they have graduated college I would allow them to be put on a path to citizenship. This Senate Shamnesty bill is wrong for American and it will end up costing our country trillions of dollars in the next 30 years according to the Heritage Foundation.

Should the people applying for asylum send their paperwork to the US from their home countries? Will that paperwork get here? Will somebody look at the contents of the paperwork before it leaves the country? Will they live to see a reply from the US? Sometimes, they have no choice but to break the law (either by sneaking in or overstaying their visas). Does that mean they should never be alowed to stay and apply for permanent residency and citizenship?
How did our founding fathers get into the land? Was it not by breaking the law of their European land and tresspassing "new" land that was owned by the natives? Why are we allowed to take over someone else's land but we don't allow others to enter and legally apply for citizenship?
I agree that these illegal immigrants should not be allowed to receive any kind of social/govt benefits while they are still illegal. But, they should be allowed to work and pay taxes and contribute to SS and Medicare from deductions from their paychecks. And should be allowed to use legal avenues to obtain permanent residency, SS, and citizenship.
"Undocumented workers" (illegal aliens) are only here to work the system. No defender of illegal aliens can explain to me why one-third of the national prison population is made up of illegal aliens. They are here to rob, rape, and murder. The others are here for the handouts and free hospital care.
Cut off welfare and the free hospital care, and get rid of anchor baby provisions, and they will leave voluntarily. They are ALL criminals from the moment they hopped the border. All we get with illegals are more pregnant 15-year olds and drunk drivers. And I've seen their "work"..sloppy at best.
And if they're so proud of their third-world cesspools, why are they HERE waving their flags?
That would be putting out the message that if you break the law they'll give in to you. Also they should be rewarding legal immigrants and punishing illegal immigrants.
It isn't right. At least i don't think so.
But when you think about how all the things that are country were SUPPOSED to be made of, it's hard to not allow a group of people in this country that work as hard as we do, and that do the jobs some of these money making Republicans need them to do??...there has to be some sort of a trade off I suppose. (I mean they each get such a deal!) That' where it is fair to say that there is an amount of over taking advantage involved.
The problems sort of feed eachother. One of the issues I have a REAL problem with is the health care.
There are so many Mexicans taking advantage of the free healthcare system it's infurriating. They make it harder for the rest of us to even try to agree on free healthcare for ourselves because they use and abuse the sytem.
I agree that voting rights,and employment are important.
But what really grinds my gears is all the health insurance issues. I mean we all can't vote, or work without our health. And the more we have to suffer and make our lives harder in order to get proper and humane health support in this country is really sad.
It seems like all the illigal immigration is beneficial to only certain types of people. And if you aren't those people, you get the short end of the stick. In all categories.
I believe all beings deserve to live in harmony and peace wherever they may be. But if we as Americans tried to live in some other country WE would NOT have such an easy time at all. We would be put in a prison. We would be sent back.
It's hard for us to sympathize with something so unequal.
no one is coming here and getting citizenship, you only ask this question to have people actually believe that's true. you only want to stir up crap from other ignorant people.
