Why has there been no public hearings on the Amnesty Bill , being shoved through Congress and upon the?
They haven't told us how they will finance and enforce this Bill . Maybe they don't intened to , because they don't want the Borders Closed .

There are no public he arings because they like to keep us in the dark.If more people knew what is really going on in congress there would be protests in the streets.We have all been sold out to big business.
They don't want the borders closed so they continue to play the secrecy game.
At this point people are so desperate for action they are willing to put any old sh*t through. It's a really sad day for the U.S. Gov't. Just further proof that big business calls the shots, not the American public.

They know that it would be shot down almost immediately. The people of the US don't want to just give them all freedom here due to the fact that they intentionally broke the law to come here. And I agree, we must close the borders before the problem gets worse.

Shoved? are you kidding me? Since 9/11 there has been 40 commite hearings, 59 amendments, and 2 bills on immigration. There was PLENTY of time.

I couldn't agree more. I remember what happened to south Florida after the Mariel boatlift refugees overwhelmed Miami. To this day, that city is a banana republic.
The main reason there haven't been public hearings is because sunlight is a very effective disinfectant!
The special interests who pull the strings in washington got tired of waiting for the Amnesty they wanted and put the screws to the politicians. Knowing they had no choice but to pass a bill that the American people would rightly see as an egregious betrayal, they hid as much of the bill as they could. Even doing everything they could to conceal the bill and lie about it's nature and purpose, 70% of the American people saw through it well enought to realize they should oppose it.
So, instead of the usual smoke and mirrors and devisive non-issues to cover the real ones, leading to a 'controversial' bill being passed, we have a bald-faced thwarting of the will of the American people by thier supposedly-elected 'representatives.'
They don't want Americans to know how bad this pile of crap is. They expect us to just believe their talking points.
That's why Lott, "Feinswine" and the other idiots are so pissed about talk radio. Americans are getting informed and they don't like it.
