I'm a British service man, how can i get a green card so that i can join the US Army?

i'm a 23 year old British service man thats served 4years. I have no American family and marrying an American isn't an option as i'm already married. Any help would be great.

Answer:
find the nearest US embassy and ask to speak to the military / defence attache and put your case across to them, or else visit the USA and go to a US forces recruiting station. I know a guy who joined the USMC and got a US citizenship from the UK so it shouldnt be a problem for you. Good luck
Stop by the U.S. Embassy in London, they shouldbe able to help you out.
I dont think you need a green card to join the forces but I do know you can only get certain jobs like Special Ops and stuff only if your an American Citizen.
Why would you do that?
The only reason I can think of for you to loin the US Army is to be able to legally shoot the blokes you currently serve with.
why the yanks?
i think if thats your plan, you need locking up in a nut house.
I would contact the Army recruiting office directly. They are desperate . . . especially for officers or people with prior experience. I'm sure they could cut through a lot of red tape on your behalf.
Fed up with being shot at by them?

So u wanna join them?

Safer i guess
dont you know you will be stepping down if you do this and probably told to shoot your allies as that is what they tend to do and call it friendly fire you are in the best armed force allready
Talk to an Army recruiter because if there is a way he will do his best. Recruiters have to meet their quota or they get bad marks so they are more than willing to find a loop hole. You may be able to find one on their web site but if not cold call one in the US.
You must be a legal resident to join the military, but it is a fast track to citizenship & I served with many that took that path, as does my son. I suspect you could get some help at the nearest consulate as we always need need trained soldiers.
