My 8 yr old son is US citizen. We are staying in India. I have renewed his US passport. How to renew his visa?

Answer:
In such a case you have to approach the Immigration department attached with the Ministry of Foreign affairs in India who will renew his visa, nothing to do with US consulate or embassy as he is a US citizen not Indian citizen for which you should go to US immigration department for getting or renewing his visa.
I wouldnt even bother if I were you. Wait 10 years & let him do it on his own.
I would contact the nearest embassy, hopefully someone else will chime in with an answer, but if not, the contact info for the US Consulates in India is on the linked page. I hope that helps.
go to the us embassy in new delhi and look for american citizens services. they will renew your son's passport for a fee ($82 for kids under 16 yrs of age).
you can also check out their website
http://newdelhi.usembassy.gov/acsmain.ht...
Take a look at the column on the left which says American Citizens Services, then click on Passports and Citizenship. Click on Passports for Minors. You'll see a list of what to bring to the embassy.
I hope you find this helpful.

NOTE:
If you already have your son's US passport, there is NO need for him to get a visa. Only non-citizens/visitors are required to get a visa when entering the united states. Since he is a US citizen with a valid US passport, nothing else is required of him. He will simply present his US passport at the port of entry, and he will be allowed to enter the United States.
Are you out of your mind? An American citizen don't need a visa to go back to his home country. Just a passport will do BECAUSE he is an American!!
if u are talking about his visa extensrion for India, u have to contact the FRRO office in the city u live in. fo go www.google.co.in, type FRRO in search, u will get fffo adresses in all major cities in India. they are authorised to extend the visa for stay in India
