the reason we didn't have this illegal invasion problem before is because we was not at war with anyone. as soon as are military is away they take advantage of the situation. who are the cowards now? not are military. it's the illegal invaders who are sneaking in here.
bush made a fine speech tonight. half the illegals here now entered legally and never left. the bush idea of opening the gate and letting mexicans come here to work is brilliant. it keeps companies out of trouble for hiring illegals. it seems to have upset some.
His words sound good but countless others have made such promises.I personally feel that we should open our borders and only patrol for drug dealers and criminals but should allow honest hard working people from other countries to come to the US and to be able to have the chance that many others have that refuse to use that chance.. but securing the borders against ,the riffraff yes definitely .. Mexico would be a perfect entry for terrorism..
Bush, once again, made it clear that he wants a "guest worker" program, and that will be tantamount to amnesty with conditions. Not all illegals will qualify and those who don't will be in the same state they're in now.
But Bush doesn't care about that. What he really wants to achieve is to quell the anti illegal sentiment and to restore the antis confidence in government. ...And to get the antis off the backs of business.
With or without the guest worker initiative, the illegals aren't going anywhere. All that's changing is that a whole lot more of them will be effectively legal.

Bush is a liar. He says no amnesty, and technically he'll be correct. What they'll do is attach a $200 fine onto the amnesty and say, "See!!!!! It's not amnesty, we're charging them a fine."
I liked the idea of the passports...........but I now hear that is on flights only. Too bad it's not for walk ins.
