Do you think trading more family preference for everyone illegal 'touching back' buys anything?

A 'trade' some are trying to pull in the senate would make ALL illegals (not just heads of family ) go back across the border (don't think India, think Canada and a revolving door). In return they'd get more family preferences instead of / allong with a point system.

I doubt it is going anywhere, Kyl says if it passes he'll drop support and work to defeat the bill, but what do you think?

Only thing it is going to buy is more time for the illegals to get the rest of their entire family here, so they can claim they been here all this time too.
When a parent is deported,it becomes a big disruption to the family unit,it is best that that the entire family be deported than only a parent or both parents as the case may be,of course if the children are american citizens,their rights would be violated by such a move,so you see there is no easy answer.I hope that parents that are deported to Mexico get priority in applying for permanent residency if they have children who are american citizens.
