Yes I am sick of it too. If you want to be a citizen of this country, know the language before you get here and join the culture instead of living outside it. I believe that a requirement for admission to this country should include teaching the applicant tools and methods for assimilating into American life and this assimilation should be monitored for 5 years by a sponsor(s) at no cost to the taxpayers.

All multiculturalism really does is take the most stereotypical elements from each culture and mesh them together with a fine coating of sexual perversity and violence. Yes, needless to say, I'm getting sick of this particular phenomenon.

No. There are people who live in America who have different beliefs, different ideas, different ways of living, and they wish to celebrate them. As long as they aren't physically harming anyone, I don't particularly care.

Not really but I don't want to see and hear about it every five minutes of every day! America is a melting pot but no more illegals! I think that issue has made me feel great resentment toward our government and some of our citizens. I think America has laws for a reason and they should be enforced!
Are the illegal aliens who defecate and urinate in the bushes behind my house practicing "multiculturalism?" How about when they gather there with a case of beer and get drunk and loud, is that "multiculturalism?" If so, then I'm sick of it.
And for those of you who don't like my response, why don't you send me your address so I can do the same thing on your property and call it an expression of multiculturalism? Is the $5,800.00 expense of erecting a second fence one of the benefits illegal immigrants bring to this country?
Yes because it does not work out when, 1. A country is bilingual (meaning half one language half another). 2. A country has more than one religion in almost equally high numbers. 3. A country lets in illegal invaders in large numbers who would become the new majority. 4. A successful country who creates a system (mass illegals) where it's citizens are brought out of wealth and into poverty.
Our governments two party system have both betrayed the citizens for their own gains; votes and trade, and we will be the biggest fools if we believe their lies they have told for many decades. The best we can do to save our nation is vote for the candidate who will reverse the illegal nightmare, that is what will get us ahead again financially the 'most'.

I believe culture is a set of rules that a single community follow to get along. If there ae more than one set of rules like in multiculturalism, then there would be more clashes. THe UN came out with a statement, that nay visitors of a nation, must attempt to follow the culture and rule of the host nation. I am appalled at the Federal agency where I work. TOlerance of other culture was gotten so far that when I was assaulted the Union rep and The EEO discuss the attack. The union President made a statement that in his culture that it's OK for people to shove a subordinate. The EEO Refuse to do anything about him because he was Eqyptian. People don't realize some of the difference in culture and they are hurt by it. THere are cultures that believes in Females being inferior and subserviant to the men. American culture states that we wish omove away from it. I had to help girl file an EEO complaint because to Men who strongly believe in Machismo harrassed a friend of mine, because she was put in charge of her group. I do believe that this country's culture states tolerance, but it has gotten out of hand. It has gotten to the point we are subserviant to other cultures. I like to point out I live in L.A., and my hometown is famous for accepting immrants from all over the world, but I wouldlike to say that all the nationalities here clashes. It's one thing with two cultures are involve , but when 3 or greater, the problem gets worse. I am often stuck in the middle trying to bring calm, because of so much misunderstandings. Everyone says respect my culture, and don't care about the other. Look at this site and see how many people attack the AMerican culture and set forth their own. At least following the UN belief , we would have more harmony.
In addition, forcing people to follow the Culture of the host nation is not racism. It makes no statement of superiority of a culture, and it is reinforced by the world community that it is an appropriate belief. Forcing people to follow the rule of a foreign culture is racism, because it states that the foreign culture is superior to the indigenous culture.
Assimilation hasn't worked for the most part. I'm a good example. I'm a Skin raised in Silicon Valley. I know my culture, I know my language and HIS (the white guys)

It cracks me up when i see these "pro english only" people, considering we don't speak ENGLISH here. We speak "AMERICAN" here, sometimes it's just "Merican"
