... and how is that different from American youths blaring Hip Hop at ear numbing volume? How is that different from American youths blaring heavy metal? Would that be any different if I drove through blasting my 70's metal or my Rromani ("Gypsy") music (I am an American citizen). How is it different than any person driving through any suburb or urban area and blasting their music?

I do not know about you but I dislike noise pollution of all kinds. I like metal but I like to have the choice of when to listen to it.
There is such a thing as rock en espanol by the way. The youth in Mexico and the rest of Latin America already know what mainstream, US contemporary music sounds like. Some of them happen to listen to it.
By the way, get your information straight. Mariachi music does not exist. It is called "ranchera," and it is the equivalent of country music in the United States. I can tell you that I don't like country.
