It has been past time for about a year now.
If you have such a problem with it, just get the people you know to stop hiring undocumented immigrants. Without the demand for labor, there's no reason for them to come.

The United States was founded and based on the principle that we would take in ALL oppressed people, whether political , religious, or economic. An act of Congress has decided on the limits and availability of Visas for persons to come work or play or do Business here. I Believe that ALL work visas should be approved. BUT ALL visas must originate outside of our Country. Illegal Aliens (be it from South of our border or Mars) should be prosecuted, and denied the RIGHT to apply for entry into OUR country. But Vigilantism has NEVER BEEN AN ANSWER. Reform is the answer. Call your Congressman/ Rep.

I think there are way too many people on all sides that say no. Only big Corporation benefits and we suffer. Besides, the gov flaunting their inabilities to respect the laws would be just too unbelievable.
You would be fighting the majority since most Americans approve of a path to legal status for illegals already here.

I am completely against amnesty in any shape or form whatsoever; but I truly hope it does not come down to civil war over this issue. I just wish the representatives and the President would listen to what the citizens want and not pander to big business and lining their own pockets.
