I came to the United States in 2000 i was 12 i am 19 now, graduated high school here can i apply for residency

Answer:
although this is the immigration part of MyTend.com you are asking this question in the wrong department. People on here are too concerned wiht tryign to look like big bad illegal hatin people that they forget your askign an honest question and apparently their heads are lodged in too tight to see that part about you coming her ewhen you were 12. I highly doubt you just waltzed over the border by youself... they need a life and you should google an immigration site. Try these ones if it doesnt automaticly link, just copy and paste into your browser.Good luck!

i don't think you can.
look up the dream act...Im in the same situation as you
Did you come here illegally?

Then no, you can't apply for residency.

Don't know which country you came from, but America takes the rule of law very seriously.

And even though you broke our laws, we still gave you a free education. Aren't we nice people?
Well, of course you can apply. That doesn't mean you'll be approved. The bureaucracy is moving so slowly now that you need to be prepared for what you will do if you don't get it approved anytime soon.
Yeah you can apply, not sure if you'll get approved, but no harm in applying.
If yo came here illegally, you need to self deport yourself and begin the legal process properly, or get deported later,,???
You need to get an immigration lawyer as the laws constantly change on how you can get residency and you may be able to qualify.

The short of it is if you can prove you lived in the United States for 10 years in good standing. A lot of documents can prove you lived here 10 years. Save you report cards (I would bet they qualify)

2nd is you can marry a citizen.

But as I said try the lawyer at minimum he can prepare for the 10 year residency.
I don't see why not.
i hope you can. We welcome you! Or at least some of us do. But hire a lawyer. DOn't ask on these boards - most people seem to be racist, immigrant hating trash.
I think you have to go back to your own country and apply from there to come legally to this country instead of being here illegally.
Go the The Mexican Consulate , they can inform you.
