Well, I don't care that the illegal immigrants are helping the economy. They have broken the law by coming into the country illegally, and thus have to be punished. Not given amnesty.
About the death penalty link, the minority races are disproportionately represented compared to their representation in American society. That is just an example of how rich defendants, for the most part white, are able to hire big shot defense lawyers that can get them off the death penalty.
About half of illegal immigrant adults who work pay taxes, according to studies. However, a number of those in your article were getting refunds, in fact they didn't happen to mention one who wasn't. (This is fairly typical for low income filers, actually.) And they said they thought it might help them get legal in case an amnesty bill passed that had a 'tax payment' requirement.
On the second link, I guess that whites are disproportionately low on death row given their percentage of the population, but I think we're disproportionately low in jails, altogether. As for Hispanics, they look low too, but if they were going by 'race' as they say on the chart, not by ethnicity, I'm surprised any were listed as Hispanics at all.

Illegals are not here legally. How came people don't get this. Any taxes an illegal pays must be done with a fraudulent social security number. All of them must be punished.

Illegal is illegal! They are scumbags raping the American way! We've actually ran their sorry asses out of this part of florida where i live. Illegals tried setting up at home depot and lowes, and all the contractors got together and made sure those scumbags didnt get work! Here's the bigg problem in areas of lots of construction and year round fruit picking. The illegals work for half price! Then if they do have a social security card, THEY STOLE IT or had it made illegally from someone dead. Both federal offenses. So they keep breaking laws and putting american citizens out of work and that should be justified? Sorry, i'm not lowering my standard of living by grouping up with 8 or 10 people to share a 2 bedroom apt! I'm not going to pool my money in for groceries that consist of taco's rice and beans. I'm not going to work as a carpenter, painter, plumber, roofer, or concrete worker in 90+ degree heat for 7 or 8 bucks an hour. We need to start leveeing heavy fines on any and all hiring these illegals as a paid form of slavery.
