Are there any immigration problems in New Zealand?
Answer:
Like everywhere, NZ does have its problems with immigrants but because the country is so small it's not that much of an issue. Immigration is serious business in NZ, you definitely need a passport to come to the country and a return ticket. Immigration is strict and if you don't abide by the rules you're just sent back home on the next available plane, just after being interviewed by immigration officers. They keep a record of the number of times you entered the country as well. No airline will let you on a plane bound to NZ without a passport :)
You heard wrong. New Zealand is very strict.
Remote islands, near the ends of the Earth, generally have fewer problems with illegal immigration.
Maybe cause their not racist?
Wrong! Very tight controls to enter New Zealand, even as a tourist. I have visited NZ twice in the last four years and have friends who went through an arduous process to emigrate to NZ.
I think they have camps on islands for illegal immigrants but cannot swear to it. It's them, Australia or both. That based on reading Australian news.
I heard Mexico has very strict immigration laws. How can it get any worse then letting anyone walk into their country. That sounds very tough to me.
