Will I vote independent in 2008?
I want to send a clear message (to democrats and republicans) that from now on they will pay a price for betraying the american people when it comes to illegal inmigration. And You? Are You planning something similar?
Answer:
To be honest, I will have to vote for the "right" person for the job! I too, am sick and tired of the Dems. and Reps. playing their stupid political games instead of getting anything done! This is just crazy! We are suppose to be one Nation..indivisable...what happened?
I reckon I'll vote for Tom Tancredo, the one candidate I truly believe will take stern action to deal with the problem.
I DON'T REALLY CARE WHAT YOU DO!!!
I might take the opposite course of you and vote for the pro-immigrant Michael Bloomberg if he runs. We need someone who does not buy into this fear mongering isolationist nonsense.
I have not decided, but most Americans have shifted from voting along party lines to voting along issues.
VOTE RON PAUL because HE is the only one who wants to put the Constitution back into the Government. Yes, he is running as a GOP, BUT he backs his comments with actions!
I resigned from the Republican Party for my own reasons a long time ago. The issues we face that will impact this Country cross party lines and party agenda or platform.
As long as I continue to live, I will vote the issues facing us regardless of party.
Go ahead, I am sure your one vote will send a crystal clear message and teach them a lesson that they will never forget.
you'd be throwing away your vote, an independent won't win in 08'
Naturally it is your inherent right to vote in any way you wish, but if your vote is intended to bring change to our system of government, than voting independent is waisting your vote. Our system has been rigged by the two parties, that have their candidates controlled by big money. So in order to change and win over the establishment you need to join them in order to get rid of them. vote for someone who is getting campaign money directly from the people and not special interests. I mean both president candidates, senate candidates and house representatives candidates. Those are not beholding to the big money people of this country.
If Scooter Libby can be pardoned after perjury may be poor immigrants can also be pardoned for crossing border without papers. Everyone talks about the taxes they are not paying or adding costs to the health care and education. Nobody seems to ask how much wealth they are adding to the system by hard work and by spending money in USA!! By the way if you legalize them, they will pay taxes too, like all other immigrants. In a country that needs one million more workers EVERY year from abroad , blaming them to take americans' jobs is just lame. Bottom line is, this country and economy need to import foreign workers like all rich economies do. Those who are opposing comprehensive immigration reforms are playing these games under lame excuses just to hide their racist agenda. Republicans do not want hispanic to come to this country, period. Today they are opposing undocumented mexicans, tommarrow they will ask legal hispanics to leave if they won't speak english language. According to Bill O'Reilly, Mexicans are challenging " White caucaisan male Society" balance.
I always have and always will. I'm registered as independent as well.
Dude, it pisses me off that all the candidates are millionaires who have no connection with hard working American taxpayers.
I'm freaking fed up with how ALL the elections are about telling voters what we wanna hear while knifing us in the back.
Since there's not a dime's bit of difference between Demos and Repubs, I rather "throw my vote away" as people say, on an independent than succumb to the two-party system mindset where THE BEST LIAR WINS.
