Is someone sharing your social security number?
It appears that illegals are not only using dead people's social security numbers to apply for loans and forge documents. They could be using yours! Does anyone know how to find out if our social security numbers are being used by someone else?

Happens all the Time they even share them, when they leave the Country.So someone uses the others number when they leave. They probably have more contacts in Government, than
the average American.
I would say call social security office and ask.

this happens all of the time. The best way to make sure this isn't happening to you is to check your credit on a regular basis, or use a monitoring service which tells you when something happens with your name or social security number. But actually i don't know why this is happening?? I thought all of the illegals in this country were good people?? I thought they were not criminals? See, illegal is illegal!!
You won't find out till it's to late.
Even worse my home state was issuing anyone of Hispanic descent with any types of documents a drivers License!
The fall out from 12-15 million fake id's has not even begun.

10. Fraudulently claiming excessive deductions for Federal Income Taxes to avoid paying any taxes - Felony - Jail Time - Deportation
11. Registering to vote in states with Motor Voter programs and voting without being a US Citizen - Felony (Perjury)- Deportation
12. Buying counterfeit auto license tabs instead of paying the sate - Misdemeanor
13. Buying phony auto insurance from Mexican operatives so automobile with counterfeit tabs can be registered - Misdemeanor
14. Claiming poverty in a household with high income (for you less than informed - illegal households can easily make as much $100,000 a year tax free) so children can apply for free lunches at school - misdemeanor
15. Claiming poverty to get free medical care from free clinics - Felony - Fraud (hundreds in LA alone) and using first class hospital emergency rooms as family doctors for non-emergency medical - ALL ILLEGALS HAVE 100% MEDICAL COVERAGE AT NO COST TO THEM - PERIOD - Misdemeanor - Deportation.
16. Traffic citations and accidents - Illegals have no real name or address - if they are get a citation or are involved in an accident - they just disappear and surface again with a new counterfeit license and address- and good luck with your insurance company - misdemeanor - Deportation
Monitoring your credit is effective but by the time you do that the damage may already be done. Social Security is not very forth coming with any information so don't count on them to tell you even if you ask. The only sure way is to secure our borders, deport all illegal aliens and know who is in this nation at all times. Stop this nations government from enabling criminal aliens to rape and suck this nation dry feeding off the hard work and tax's of legal Americans.
Well I have a friend that had been sharing his social with a dead man and he didn't even know it. In fact the government didn't notice till he was 19. So it's not hard for an illegal to get away with it. Sad
Well, I found out when the IRS said I needed to pay more taxes...I live in 200 miles from where someone was working and using my SS number in a different part of the state.
I had to get documentation from my employer that I was working full time, and documentation from several other people saying I was living and working in this area.
I fell victim to one of those poor down trodden illegals just trying to make a decent living by stealing my SS number.
Oh, they also opened charge card a Macys.
and people wonder why I feel like I do about illegals.
Thats been 10 years ago and I'm still dealing with Credit history issues and the like.
They took my best friends little sisters one,she is only 3!!
