Most people who need to make these applications are unsure of what to expect. We can put your mind at rest and if there are any areas of concern we can work with you to ensure the application can be presented confidently having addressed any problems.

Leave him where he is.

ENGLAND IS FULL!! we dont need anymore scroungers and free loaders,
Contact the home office. That may be your best bet, or enlist the help of an immigration barrister.
There are hard rules in toght times.
Bureaucratic mechanism will not allow exceptions.
Best shot is just try through Home Office or department of immigration.
Once he has already a job offer, perhaps this company can start with regular process and things come easier once probably other channels will be used.
For an appeal, you definitely need professional advice. I think you only have 28 days after the decision to make an appeal, so you will probably have to go down the road of making a fresh application with new evidence, eg yor work status. In any case, you need to go to an immigration solicitor as soon as possible. You should be able to get an initial consultation free.
good luck in your quest

You need to decide which is the best, go for an appeal that has good prospects of success or submit a fresh application? bearing in mind that settlement visas now cost £500/ person. If you choose to appeal the decision, then you need to decide whether you'll get a lawyer involved. If so private solicitors charge a lot of money for appeals. If you want to be assisted under legal aid, then you'll be subject to the merits test for a solicitor to grant you Controlled Legal Representation (CLR). The solicitor would need to be satisfied that the chances for the appeal being successful is at LEAST 50%. If not CLR will not be granted. Best is to talk to an immigration solicitor or your local law center or the Immigration Advisory Service (IAS) for more info.
