I don't think many people want immigrants to come over and "get on the system." I am pretty sure the idea is that they'll work, just as your ancestors and my ancestors did.
A much better answer is if illegal alians just want a better life and break the law to due it what makes them better than bank robbers, drug dealers etc. They both want a better life and do not have the legal means to attain it.
Well let them come on their own, just like all the illegals that immigrate into this country. If we were to get them, then they would not be illegal, just a thought.

Well, if you would quit hand picking dictators to rule poor countries (does the name augusto pinochet sound familiar?) we wouldn't even be here. I'm not saying it's all Americas fault, no, but the U.S. has had a big part in keeping some poor countries just that, poor. It's also assholes like Santa Anna that messed our countries up. Imagine if there had been no santa anna and for all those years he ruled there would have been a good leader. Mexico would be a very different place with twice it's current land.
