Stateless person?

i am a stateless person. i am a third generation Chinese immigrant born in the Philippines. i am currently living in Taiwan and i have a Taiwan passport but NO TAIWAN CITIZENSHIP and NO PHILIPPINE CITIZENSHIP. i am holding an alien registration certificate in both countries.

i have two questions:
1. i heard that the US has a quota for stateless persons. can i apply for a citizenship in that country or any other country for that matter?

2. one easy way to remedy my problem is by marrying my boyfriend. however, we haven't really thought over this but he's willing to just go ahead and marry. my problem is that this is not how i imagined my wedding to be, and since we're not really marrying because we're ready, i'm not sure if this will become a problem in the future (eg. we're married but we're not really married and we might fight over this complicated relationship)

PLEASE HELP!

Answer:
Wow. That sounds like me. I'm a 3rd generation Chinese immigrant born in Brunei, living in Australia and I hold permanent resident status in Brunei and Australia. My solution, which I don't know if applicable for you, is pretty much to apply for citizenship in my country of choice. In Australia, one simply has to be a skilled migrant (fulfill a points test), stay in the country lawfully and contribute to the economy for several years, and then apply for citizenship. One may have to complete an english test (I'm not sure of that has been introduced) and seriously have a commitment to making the place one's home. Other than that, it's that simple. I'm in the process of living my years here before applying for citizenship.
There should be procedures on how to become a citizen in the United states and in Taiwan too, not limited to being born in the country itself. I know that in Europe, one would need to live there for a decade or so before becoming eligible, but there is always a way. Do some research on the internet, and I'm sure you will find your answer. I am not sure, but I heard that the quota for stateless people usually applies to refugees, which automatically excludes those coming from conflict free regions.
In the end, a country wants to prosper, and that all depends on its people. Many countries will jump at the chance to take on as its own a person who has the skills that it needs, the links to its culture or at least the money. The key is to make yourself one of those people. I hope this helps!
it is a federal crime in the USA to obtain immigration by marriage that was entered into solely to sidestep immigration laws. Violators can get up to 5 years in a penitentiary. Violators are both the alien who marries and the american who marries him or her. Its viewed as a conspiracy to evade immigration laws
