I heard that applying as physical therapist assistant in U.S doesnt need english exam, is it true?

physical therapist assistant requirements to work in the U.S.

Answer:
PTA's are not listed in the Schedule A Category , which actually expired on Nov 1st 06. Only PT's and nurses were. Even they need to get their English right before getting here. www.fccpt.org and www.cgfns.org explain you the whole thing.
They must have a college degree and English is also required.
You must have heard wrong. Physical Therapists are being sought, not their assistants. It requires a 4 year college degree and also passage of the English proficiency examination.
so you will have patients who can't understand you. way to go.
if my physical therapist cannot speak proper english, I will konk them over the head with my cast and sue the hospital for malpractice.
