are you sure this is a friend ,or are you making money out of it ? If your British, you'd know there are too many foreigners here all ready, why would you want to help more come in, unless your making money out of it ?
There are a lot of very highly qualified and experienced engineers already in the UK looking for a job. It is already oversubscribed. I think your friend is wasting his time looking here.
