Immigration?

I am curious as to what people think about immigration... There are pros and cons to the issue so I am not looking at just one end. I feel that we all have a voice. President Bush is wanting to build a wall along the Mexico border. I feel that its not morally correct. I want to kno what you all think about whether or not this is correct or necessary for our country

Answer:
We truly need the wall! Our Government and its people can not handle the economic uncertainties that the rapid "illegal invasion" has brought on. We need fierce border control to stop the illegal aliens & illegal criminals from entering our Country, just as much as we need to stop our criminals from escaping this Country and entering Mexico to avoid prosecution for the crimes they commited on U.S. Soil.
We need to protect our borders from criminals both entering and exiting our Country!
I agree with building a wall along the Mexico border.
I think anyone who wants to move to the U.S. for a better life should to the paperwork to get here. I know people who would love to live here, but would not be immoral or break the laws to come here. There should be more control of who moves here.
After all, if we took all the poor people in the 3rd world countries, where and how would we all live?
What we need is a comprehensive inmigration reform instead of a wall. Besides the wall won't work. If is 12 feet high inmigrants will jump a little higher.
Cracking down on immigration is all an illusion right now.

That won't matter because what most people don't know and what the media isn't discussing is that we are in the process of creating a free-trade zone called the SPP with Mexico and Canada and a new currency called the Amero, representing North America, to rival that of the EU.

This is seen as necessary as the dollar is on the verge of collapse. From Venezuala and Iran creating a central bank to trade oil on Euros. China about to dump a trillion of U.S. debt into Euro. OPEC about to go Euro(largest holder of U.S. debt), and Russia going Euro if we attack Iran. SInce there is no gold to back it up, all that is left is the huge debt. In order to maintain our place in the world, the U.S. will have to transfer all of its economy to the Euro and shatter world currencies into one. Creating the United States of the World

Believe me. Immigration just gives people a fuzzy warm false sense of security, that means nothing in the large scale of global events taking shape right now.

Praise Jesus, everything is coming to pass just as predicted. Which means he comes soon.
I would like a wall, landmine field, fence---something. If you had illegals destroying your private property at the border while trespassing on your land like I do, morals would be a non-issue.
I don't know what you could find about it be morally incorrect, I've got a wall around my yard to regulate who can and cannot be in it.

It wouldn't be necessary if the US enforced it immigration laws and if the Mexican government didn't look the other way.
Well here in the UK we have far too many foreigners working here they are a drain on the ecconomy I think every single migrant worker should be kicked out! Some migrant workers are willing to work for slave wages less than the minimun wage which makes the Uk worker feel nervous and worried about their own jobs. I think people should stay in their own countries and not become a burdon in someone elses country.
We don't need a wall to control immigration. Immigrants use legal channels to enter a country.
We need border control to prevent illegal aliens from entering the country..
Hell with a wall, how about land mines and machine guns.
A wall, i do not want my 71 Vega stolen again lol
The only reason he is building a wall is that on the surface, it seems like a legitimate, meaningful, Pro-American thing to do. In reality--it's all eyewash. The immigration problem is not solved by the building of a wall. Look at who was contracted out to build the wall. Another one of Bush's Fortune 500 Buddies and an Israeli (clusterbombers of Children) outfit.

Sickening--you'd think that a local contractor would get the job that employs regional labor. This wall is just another scheme to supplement the Bush Racket.

Our immigration problem has more to do with illegal employer's and their continued exploitation by entities that back our Republican leadership.

According to the Los Angeles Times over 95% of the murder warrants there are for illegal aliens! So, yeah, I think we should do everything in our power, no matter what, to keep these people out of our country. Also, did you know that less than 2% pick the crops they claim they come here to pick, but that over 29% are on our welfare rolls? When they did a study of illegals to find out what contribution they make to this country in terms of taxes and such, the numbers came out in the minus category, meaning they take a lot more from this country than they ever give back. And, what burns me up is that they come here and DEMAND to be taught in their own language and boo our flags and say the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America in another language!!!!! Yeah, do whatever is necessary to keep them where they belong - IN MEXICO!!!!
3 things have to happen to reduce or eliminate the ILLEGAL ALIEN problem in the U.S. There is no immigration problem, the U.S. already admits more legal immigrants than the other countries of the world combined.

1. Secure the border by any means necessary. (This will prevent more from coming, but does nothing about those here already.)
2. Do not hire illegals. Do not rent or sell housing to them. Do not allow them any benefits given those that are here legally. (This will eventually reduce or eliminate those attempting to come here illegally, and will convince those left to leave on their own.)
3. Deport those that are left. (By itself, this does nothing. They will merely sneak across again, as happens now.) If step #2 is done, deport them, they will have no reason to attempt to come here illegally again.
Morally correct? Why on earth wouldn't it be morally correct to protect our borders?

Legal immigration that serves the needs of the country and does not overburden our schools and services is great. Illegal immigration is illegal for very good reasons. It is above the amount of foreigners we think we should take every year. Most of the illegal immigrants are poor, and even if they pay taxes, they can't pay the $10,000 per year per child it costs for K-12 education, much less for the other services poor people and their families use. The money for their education is taken from our children who are taught in over crowded, year round scheduled schools with emergency credentialled teachers, where programs like gifted programs, music, languages and PE for our own children have been cut out in favor of programs targetting the difficult to educate ESL segment of the school population.

Our schools are being ruined and our emergency rooms are closing in areas where illegals concentrate.

I don't think the fence is nearly enough, but it is certainly a necessary componant, in my opinion.
Who cares about morality? morally correctness is slowing down progress if you ask me. We need the wall.
You might want to rethink what you said. The fence is the last thing Bush wants, he wants open borders. But yes the fence is a good start. what we need is, 1. to control our borders and ports. 2. Fine, and or jail those that hire illegal aliens. 3. fine and or jail those renting to illegal aliens. 4. fine and or jail those that sell IDs, or aid in any way illegal aliens. 5. Deport all illegal aliens here in our country. Keep in mind that, with no job, no place to live, we may not have many left to deport.
People cross the sea to get into this country. No way a wall is going to stop immigrants from coming in. We need better policies and Mexico needs to do more to prevent the flow of illegal immigrants coming in.
I think wall is wrong, but United States of North America (USA,Canada,Mexico)sounds not bad and promising.I think that's a case sooner or latter
Build the wall. Heck, anything that will help protect the legal citizens of our wonderful Country from the illegal invasion of criminals
