Why is it that the pro's keep asking why we are afraid of the illegals becoming legal?
The only thing we are afraid of is the laws which won't allow us to treat them as they deserve. And the same people who make those laws are the same people who are supposed to enforce the laws which the illegals break.
Makes a lot of sense, enforce laws to protect lawbreakers. How soon before we just decide which laws apply to us as well? The sooner that happens, the sooner this illegal problem can be resolved.
Go ahead and report me, I have not said anything about a specific race, used no profanity, called anyone a name, or clearly advocated violence against anyone.
I have been letting you insult and call us racist names without resorting to anonomous violation reports but I've gotten nailed six times, and none of them have deserved to be reported. I am about sick of it, rather than debate, you report.

We aren't afraid. We are aware of the negative impact on our society. We are aware that SS will be in deep, deep trouble if the illegal aliens are added to retirement benefits. We are aware of the critical drain on health care.
We are aware that there are many LEGAL immigrants who contribute to our society from the first moment they arrive, by respecting our laws.
We are aware the illegal aliens have no respect for our laws.
Many of these pro's fear deportation.

I agree. In order to become a legal citizen in the USA, they must follow the correct way to do this. Go back home and then stand in line to do what is necessary to become legal. One of the first things should include, learning the English language and then understanding the laws here and be able to prove that they can become productive and loyal citizens.
It is just like calling you a racist it is just to shut you down. More ones know the issues on any thing the other side can't shut you down. They do it in your face method with non facts that are not relative to anyting.
Like: We are a land of Immigrants" fact all countries are a land of immigrants in history "so what". We are a land of a lot of things, like rattle snakes just because we are a land of them I sure don't want a million of them on my front door every day.
People react to fast when things are thown at them. Think first then respond with facts. Think about it.
It's not fear of the illegals themselves it's the economic impacts and the fact that terrorists have an open door to our country, too. My God, we educate all of them even teach them to fly into our twin towers. We need to isolate ourselves from outsiders to get our country back on track and start worrying about America for a change. Just because we don't want to become a welfare country doesn't mean we fear any of these hate groups that are already here. Americans have definitely got enough backbone to stand up to these problems but our government seems to be weaker everyday. I don't want to have gangs in my neighborhood and I don't want to be unable to leave my home if it's dark! Life is tenuous enough without being attacked in my own yard. This lawless group of individuals are a true detriment to our morals, values and way of life. And quit being snitches instead of having the courage to hear both sides of an issue!
You need to take your problem to Bush's Daddy. He allowed thousands in 1994 to pay taxes legally with a W-7 or more commonly know as an Individual Tax Identification Number. He gave them the rights to pay taxes so they beleive they have the right (in some states not all) to apply for welfare, foodstamps, financial assistance, and free healthcare. They pay taxes but do not get any of the benefits. Now, that you have the first group paying taxes and getting the free stuff they teach others and so on and so on. American has made billions of dollars federally off of the illegals that have been paying taxes. The federal govt is not going to push the issue of illegal because of the money they are making off of them. And BTW - even if the pay into the Social Security they are not eligible to collect unless they become permanent residents or citizens, so they have been paying into our Social Security for us and Bush Jr. has been spending it for the war in iraq. It is all economics. For many Americans it is a race issue and for many others it is an economic and socio-economic issue. You need to look at your states guidelines for state and federal assistance and the criteria they use to validate a persons eligibility to receive assistance.
ITS a double standard of law enforcement. They are illegal & the punishment is deportation. Enforce our laws no matter where you are from.
I'm certainly not afraid of them becoming legal! I want them to become legal! I just want it to happen in a fair and equitable way.
