You are right but most people are too politically correct to admit it, even if they agree.
How are you going to tell if they are illegal or not? Do they wear a badge? Or are you going to ask them?

If you want to spend your time finding out and reporting imigrants then by all means do so. It is not a great concern for me. They sometimes do a lot of the crappy jobs that we don't want to do.
I don't think they can use our health service if they don't pay NHS. And if they do pay it, then they can't be illegal immigrants.
At the end of the day you can't really blame people for trying to earn more money for themselves and make a better future. If you were offered a job in another country for ten times what you earn now, wouldn't you take it. I know I would.

I am sickened by the proposed immigration bill. I guess when they have drained all of our resources they will move on, like locusts, to their next victim, probably Canada. By then, I hope to be making a fresh start somewhere else where at least I know where I stand as a citizen and the crime rate has recently and astonishingly decreased---MEXICO!!
Yes, it is time for us to take a more active role in this illegal practice. I too, am tired of paying for "freebies" when I have never needed this assistance! I am not sure I could get it if I did need it!! The reason I say this is when my Mom had a stroke and had to retire, she was NOT illegible for much of anything! In fact, they would alot her $11.00 a month for food, in food stamps! Have you ever seen the cart/carts of food these illegal immigrants get with food stamps? I have because I have checked them out in the grocery line when I worked as a cashier, years ago!
This is not fair to any of us who were born here! We work our backsides off and pay much of that money to people who are illegally here, through taxes!
So, yes, if we want this to stop, we are going to have to work together and be vigilant about those who are illegal. I think as citizens, we owe it to ourselves to do the right thing...report illegals who are taking up residency here!

The governement's policy is to not allow asylum seekers to work, so don't blame them.

People do. I was told that the phone is continually ringing with "information". Most of it is useless. "There's someone working in Asda, I think he might be illegal, he looks a bit funny and his English isn't very good". Immigration are interested in solid information from employers, or others who might actually have seen someone's papers. Apparently their best info comes from ex-partners dobbing in their exes, which is pretty sad.
