its really a very good thing
except for the natives i see everybody in the USa as an immigrant
if they came 200 years ago or one day ago its the same thing
there is no real son of the soil story.
so whay not pay up and shut up?
I think it will cost more because they will come up with something that the illegals can file for low income and not have to pay thier fines. So that will fall on the taxpayers too.
I think it is total bull that they will get amnisty, I work my *** off 60-70 hours a week every week and pay taxes and pay into social security just so someone can jump a border and become a citizen and collect social security. If they want to be here they should have to go back and apply to be a citizen.

guess what it's 2007, people born here are americans. who gives a flying F what happened hundreds of years ago ok. our country is full as it is and we cant support anymore people bringing down our country. why dont you pay me money since you so willingly want to give it up.
Why are we discussing this at all? These people broke the law. If I robbed a bank 10 years ago, would they give me amnesty and would I get to keep the money? I don't think so. So why reward these people for breaking the law?
