How Out of Touch With Reality Are United States Imigration Policies?
Anybody else see this?
Answer:
Answer: No! The reality is America needs to build the fence and enforce existing laws. Many illegal aliens are part of Mexico's state sponsored invasion and the reality is that they are criminals.
You disguise their motives and paint them as strong, and honorable...If that was the case why did they not stay home and change things there? They sure seem to be trying to change things in the country that they invaded.
no
It does not matter why the illegals want to come in. People in hell want ice water, so what? The problem is that the Mexican government is corrupt, and refuses to help their own people. Not only that but they actively tell them how to go about illegally entering the United States. Why should we not want to know who is entering our country? In these days of terrorism, it is irresponsible not to have control of your immigration policies and borders. The problem is you have had it too easy for so long now. We are not out of touch...the illegals are. This is not their country. I support Jeff Session of Alabama in his attempts to revamp our immigration policy. He wants to make it so that citizenship is awarded on the merits of the applicant, and more importantly the needs of this nation. I think that we should fire a couple warning shots at people who attempt to sneak over our borders and if they fail to heed them...oh well.
actually mex does not have a big problem because of how tight thier laws are against them much worse than our own.

You are right to think that promoting legal immigration instead of trying harsh measures to repress illegal immigration would be a better answer. The U.S. immigration system needs huge reforms not just toward Mexican immigration but in general. Most people don't even know the right procedures or how nearly impossible it is for just anyone to try and emigrate here. I also think people should try to really educate themselves on the issue instead of holding hate speeches or simply insulting comments towards all illegals. I am sorry to think that this wall building will be a waste of tax payers' money and will most probably not work. They really ought to look at the real source of the problem to try and fix it.
You answered your own question. Yes more than Mexicans are coming across..that includes terrorists. That's why we need a fence, and a tighter crackdown on illegals, and the people who employ them. Immigrate legally, like my parents did.
You are completely right. If the United States would expand its legal immigration quotas to reasonable levels in accord with the number of workers needed, no one would prefer to come here illegally. It is the bottleneck created by artificial regulations that makes desperate people unable to wait the years required now.
