How do we ask Mexico to help with the border or get out of the way?
Since Mexico doesn't help with the border problem, in fact aiding people along the way and passing out maps, how can we persuade them to help or tell them to get out of the way so we can enforce our own border security, which hasn't been so productive?

If we begin by penalizing employers here who hire them, workers will stop coming because there are no employment opportunities and thus no money to be made. If we get the problem at its root they won't have a choice.
Knowing how corrupt the Mexican government is, they would then likely have a "series of talks" with our government about our TERRIBLE immigration laws and how we're being just *awful* and *discriminatory*. But, you should see what they do to their illegals on their southern border.
Stop giving them an incentive to come here. Mexico won't have a choice.
Offer economic support for helping and economic sanctions for getting in the way.
We do not have a President who is interested in border security.
That would interfere with his globalist plans.
Stop giving them aid until they do.
We say "Either help us secure the borders or we will boycott you imports" Simple
they will only cry to the un again. this is our country and we want our borders defended. to hell with what the un has to say about it.
The only way they will do that is if their economy changes to the extent that they can employ all the people who are coming over here. Otherwise, they're always going to welcome the opportunity to not have to deal with their great masses of totally impoverished people. So if we want them to stop it, we'll have to give them the money to support them, in which case we would get no return on our dollar. At least this way we get some work out of them!
Mexico is having problems of its own, concerning our country.Let me ask you this, how come US doesn't help Mexico in controlling its arms coming into Mexico.These arms which keep the drug cartels alive and well in their country? It goes both ways, perhaps if US and arms dealers would stop selling arms to drug lords, it wouldn't be such a big business for both countries.I agree, Mexico should stop importing its drugs and poverty and US should stop supplying them arms and giving jobs to Mexico's poor...

We are in a hole that we dug ourselves. We opened the border with the free trade act and now many of our major companies have factories across the border. That leaves us with one move. Tighten up the security along the border using land mines, free fire towers, dogs, walking sentry's etc. Sweep industries known for hiring undocumented workers and fine them large amounts when found in violation. Create stiff prison sentences for employers that hire these people.
They are not interested. Would be a waste of time to even try. They are happy to be getting rid of their criminals.
I don't know about you, but I wouldn't help from a drug lord run country.

The Mexican President is laughing all the way to the bank on this one! He doesn't want to help! Why should he? His poor sneak into this country, get all the benifits( housing, medical, finacial aid) by giving birth to Anchor Babies( a child born here is auto granted american citizenship... by the way we are one of the last remaining countries in the WORLD that allows this, the rest got SMART!) and then work for peanuts here but to them it's a fortune. All the while these Mexican Illegals are sending money orders back to his country for their families at home! The man can't lose!!
By the way, these Anchor babies once they reach adulthood are able to "Sponsor" other familiy memebrs into the country. The more we let in the more we let our dollars flow out to Mexico. The President of Mexico isn't worried about exports, he has a great cash flow coming in via Western Union!
Mexico won't help us with that, they want people to come here illegally and send money back to mexico. We have to stop worrying about them and just build the damn fence and add the border gaurds NOW.
We can ask but since we are one of their greatest resources (money sent home by the illegal) nothing will happen. They would probably HELP the illegals cross.
