i don't know where you are, but you need to go to the US Embassy in your country. they will direct you from there, but its a pretty long process. look into getting a work permit, or that type of thing. really, the embassy will be able to give you all the answers - it differs from country to country. but don't quit your job hoping to get into the US tomorrow or even this month, as it takes much longer.

I will agree with cc41B. You may have a US immigration office near you or in your province or your country. Research their address and write them a letter requesting the info you need to apply for immigration to US.
