Absolutely. If they want to wait in line behind the other 4 million people all applying to come here, then I have no objection to them immigrating. It's the illegality and the "I deserve it" attitude that is so annoying.

they don't have the right and it isn't fair. part of the problem is that we've been unrealistic with our immigration policies... is it intelligent to give mexico and indonesia an equal number of spots in the country for legal immigration? doesn't seem to be. our current policy serves no one but the wealthy in mexico and the homeowners here who can take advantage of the cheap labor.

I do not know why this does not make more legal immigrants very mad. Any amnesty would be a slap in the face, to those who, payed there fee, did all paper work, and then waited.

I was in a American Consulate office a few years ago, and I met a man and his entire family that had been there everyday for 2 years, waiting for his number to be called!!!!
He received his paper work to immigrate on the third day I was there!
All I can say is those that are illegal are either lazy, uninformed, can't pass the physical, or can't pass the security clearance.

I agree. I don't care if you're Mexican, German, British, Canadian, Chinese, whatever. If you are in the United States illegally, you have broken the law. Period. I hate how everyone thinks this is an issue of race... because for most people, it isn't. We don't hate illegal Mexicans BECAUSE they're Mexican, we don't like that they're breaking a law when MILLIONS OF OTHERS, including *GASP* Mexicans, have done it legally and live wonderful lives. Anyone who is in the US illegally, regardles of nationality, gender, race, whatever, has broken the law and should be deported.
