Yes. An illegal alien gets a "get out of jail free card" plus U.S. legal documents and monetary compensation from federal prosecutors in exchange for his testimony against a US Border Patrol agent accused of using excessive force during an arrest.
An example, David Sipe, who was convicted and fired, recently won a court-ordered retrial.
Other examples are too numerous to detail.
The recently jailing of two Border Agents at a Kangaroo type trial was contrary to most citizens sense of justice.

The answer is yes. Motivation is to scare other border patrol agents not to use force with illegal aliens. Which worked, by the way. Border patrol agents are now coming forward & admitting they are afraid to do their jobs due to the repercussions of their actions. They now tend to be less agressive.

Our Border Patrol puts their lives on the line every single day to stop the massive flow of illegal immigrants, human smugglers, drugs, and crime across our border while our government aids and abets the very people they seek to arrest. It is sickening

I pay the government every single year on time, so that bureaucrats and politicians can cater to corporate lobbyists, and allow illegals to trample across my property. If there were no Border Patrol agents I would either be shot dead by a cartel smuggler, illegal smuggler or in prison for murder.
