Mexicans are usually deported right away when captured. The real threat comes from OTM's (other than Mexican). OTM's are usually released after being captured under the promise that they will leave the country voluntarily, which of course almost never happens.
OTM's, for you ignorant that call all Hispanics 'Mexicans', also includes all countries from Latin America, there are more Hispanic countries than just Mexico.
