From the pit to the palace. Tell your friend dont worry it just takes time. One of the most important thing to do is go back to school which will open up a lot of opportunities for you. Either getting you GED, going to trade school or even college do something that you love then use those strengths and help other immigrants like you. Dont get involve in the getting rich quick schemes, but hard work and determination will pay off.
Your right! I say we give away a get in free card to everyone and the taxpayer gives out a $5000 start up fee to make you feel at home. How come we make differences for illegal aliens.

You are however right, if it is fair to give everything to illegals then why shouldn't the ones who obeyed the rules be rewarded?
Unfortunately illegal aliens make it very hard for our legal guests to find work. Why pay a legal worker, when you can pay an illegal criminal alien below minimum wage?

I am confused about this whole thing... one of the reasons that the government gives for doing this for illegal aliens in the first place is that there is a supposed "shortage of workers" in the US. Where do they get that info? Or is it that the unemployed people here don't want jobs that pay so little?

any assistance he is offered he should take til he can help get on his feet.it is very hard out there even 4 us born here.what about the employment office ?the news papers always advertise jobs available.schools colledges.his past education should help him he should use it.way labor work when he can help our youth believe me they need help.his mind is his tool so use it.and educate in the way he is best at teaching.it is most rewarding as i know he already knows.if he gives of himself he will be getting also.hope god will shine down on him in his quest.he will succeed.take care chow 4 now.again best of luck.

There are always jobs available if you really want to work. They might not be what you like, but at least it keeps you pliant till something does show up.
