Canada and the US?
Answer:
Canadians are good people that mind their own business. I feel very sorry about what might happen to them.

Although we have our disagreements... we are good neighbors.. I don't personally know one I don't like.
Because they share the longest unprotected (militarily) border on earth. You wouldn't do that with someone you didn't trust (to certain degrees - as responder said, they do have their political disagreements). Having common European roots, free market systems, and democratic governments help as well.
I have partied with Canadians while stationed in WA in
the service, and now that I live in Michigan, have on many
occasions have bumped into Canadians in parks
and Restuarants etc. Most speak English (don't forget
the French-Canadians) as a mother language, and basically
hold the same values as us US folk. I look at them as
neighbors and/or buds. Why ? -- dunno
I like Canadians, they come down all the time. Good people!
Where the hell is canada?
I feel Canada and the USA are very good buddies. They have their political differences now and then, but overall, are good friends and respect each other.
I have no idea why, I live in the U.S, and I am not satisfied at all with it!

While I certainly don't, and can't claim to speak for the US, I have been an American for a long time, cuz I'm getting old. I feel Canada is much more than our buddy. We and Canada are family. And more importantly, respected neighbors, blood brothers, and partners in life. We share the same basic view of the world, and similar political systems. Except for that little tiff back in 1812, Canada has been the best neighbor any nation could hope to have. The only fault I find with Canadians is their odd habit of using vinegar on their french fries. I personally love Canada, and consider it the most beautiful place on Earth. I've been around the US, spent time in the Caribbean, and spent a couple years in Europe. Great, yes. But it ain't Canada. If I wasn't American, I'd dream of being Canadian. Since we're friends, I get the best of both. I live RIGHT on the border, and have been to Canada hundreds of times. It's just like home, only a little more polite and happy. For a nature freak like me- Canada IS heaven.
Most Americans like the Canadians a lot, hopefully they reciprocate but they make great neighbors and while we do not always agree our countries have a good relationship as well as our people. I love to go to Canada, the people are great, the food is great and its an absolutely beautiful place to travel.
Mutual respect
