Does anyone know about how long will it take for my son to get his Child Citizenship in US ?

He is under 18 and under the child chitizenship act of 200 hes suppose to get his citizenship when i get it. but I'm wondering how long will it take to get a proof of his Citizenship?

Answer:
well I never hear such thing...well proof of citizenship just when he goes to the ceremony INS citizenship department nwill give him a date I guess...
After filling out the paperwork and going to all INS appointments.. you will still have to wait for citizenship. The process for the paperwork and confirmation appts. is about 1 year. I know because my husband went through it all. After your child has lived here a certain number of months and all papers and costs are in order then you may apply for his citizenship. I believe you have to live in the U.S. for 1 year though.
depending on the back log in your district, 6 months to a year. But while you are waiting you can apply for his U.S. passport, with his citizen parent's proof of citizenship , child's birth certificate and resident alien card, check out form DS-11 instructions found at www.travel.state.gov
